This workshop will focus on the partnership that has been created and how this model can be integrated into your school, and ways to advocate for expanding it into other schools.
Teachers continued in their traditional roles, and parents entrusted them with producing our future citizens as they prepare to enter the workforce or college. The dream of creating a school community that continues to grow and is embraced by everyone is an ambitious idea, especially if you have been told that parents don’t want to get involved. When we talk about parent involvement that significantly impacts student academic success, we are not talking about the stay-at-home parents who have extra time to meet their child’s teacher throughout the day.
